AMD has introduced the Ryzen™ 7 7700X3D, a new enthusiast-class desktop processor designed to deliver high-performance gaming through its AMD 3D V-Cache™ technology and Zen 4 architecture.
Launched on July 16, 2026, the processor features 8 cores and 16 threads, a 96MB L3 cache, and clock speeds of up to 4.5GHz. Built on TSMC’s 5nm FinFET process for CPU cores, the Ryzen 7 7700X3D is engineered to improve gaming responsiveness while supporting modern desktop platforms based on the AM5 socket.
The processor supports DDR5 memory, PCIe 5.0, AMD EXPO™ memory overclocking, and Precision Boost Overdrive, enabling enthusiasts to maximize system performance. It is compatible with AMD’s latest chipsets, including X870E, X870, B850, X670E, X670, B650E, B650, A620, and B840.
AMD also integrates Radeon™ Graphics with two graphics cores, native support for USB Type-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode, and a wide range of security features such as AMD Secure Processor, Firmware TPM, AMD-V virtualization, and Windows Secured-Core PC support.
