Amazon Web Services (AWS) has introduced two new AI-powered tools designed to help startups accelerate product development and simplify cloud adoption: AWS Startup Advisor and agentic migration capabilities.
The new solutions aim to support both technical and nontechnical founders by providing personalized guidance for building, managing, and scaling applications on AWS while reducing the complexity of cloud operations.

AWS Startup Advisor functions as an AI-powered solutions architect, offering tailored recommendations based on a startup’s technology stack, business stage, and AWS environment. Built using expertise from AWS Solutions Architects and insights from more than 350,000 startups running on AWS, the tool helps founders manage cloud infrastructure, optimize costs, improve security, and monitor AWS resources.
Available through startups.aws and integrated into development environments including Kiro, VS Code, Cursor, and Claude Code, the assistant can recommend infrastructure configurations, generate deployment guidance, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide proactive alerts related to security, budgets, and cloud usage.
AWS also unveiled AI-powered migration tools that enable startups to move applications, databases, and AI workloads to AWS more efficiently. The platform generates personalized migration plans that include architecture diagrams, cost estimates, Terraform templates, service mappings, and step-by-step migration runbooks.
The migration capabilities support transitions from competing cloud platforms and AI ecosystems, including migrations from Google Cloud infrastructure and AI models from providers such as Anthropic, Gemini, and OpenAI to Amazon Bedrock.
According to AWS, startups can choose between AI-guided migrations, direct support from AWS experts, or implementation through certified AWS partners. The company said migration plans can be generated at no cost, with customers paying only for the AWS resources used during deployment.
The launch reflects AWS’s broader strategy of embedding generative AI into the startup journey, helping founders spend less time on cloud management and more time building products and growing their businesses.
As AI continues to lower barriers to entrepreneurship and software development, AWS is positioning these new tools as a way to help startups move from idea to deployment faster while scaling securely on cloud infrastructure built for long-term growth.
