A powerful convergence of leaders shaping the future of the Philippines’ digital economy.
Converge ICT Solutions Inc. is reinforcing its role in powering the Philippines’ business process outsourcing (BPO) sector by expanding its digital infrastructure and enterprise-grade connectivity solutions aimed at sustaining global competitiveness.
Through its enterprise arm, Converge Global Business, the company recently hosted the “Elevating Connections” forum in Bonifacio Global City, bringing together industry leaders to discuss the rising demand for secure, scalable, and AI-ready connectivity in the IT-BPM sector.
IT and Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP) President and CEO Jack Madrid emphasized that the industry’s continued growth depends heavily on world-class digital infrastructure as BPOs transition toward higher-value, AI-enabled services and hybrid work models.
“Strategic partnerships with leading technology providers ensure we maintain global competitiveness and continue to elevate Filipino talent on the world stage,” Madrid said.
Converge highlighted that modern BPO operations now require greater network resilience, low-latency connectivity, and robust data security, especially as AI integration and permanent hybrid workforces become standard across global clients.
Grace Jarin-Castillo said the company continues to invest in both local fiber infrastructure and international subsea systems to ensure scalability and redundancy for enterprise customers.
“We recognize that seamless connectivity is the lifeblood of global operations,” she said.
A key part of Converge’s strategy is its expansion into international subsea cable systems, including its role in the 5,000-kilometer SEA-H2X Cable System and participation in the 20,000-kilometer Bifrost Cable System. These investments aim to strengthen direct connectivity between the Philippines, Asia, and North America.
With a nationwide fiber footprint spanning more than 896,000 kilometers, Converge positions itself as a key digital backbone for the country’s outsourcing industry, ensuring high availability and enterprise-level performance for large-scale operations.
Industry analysts note that continued investment in subsea infrastructure and fiber expansion is critical to maintaining the Philippines’ position as a leading global outsourcing destination amid rising demand for AI-driven and digitally intensive services.
