HUAWEI, in partnership with multi-sports facility Pretty Huge, brought fitness enthusiasts together at the HUAWEI Fit Fest, highlighting how wearable technology and connected audio can support smarter workouts, recovery, and performance tracking.
The event featured the HUAWEI Community Run, guided stretching and recovery sessions, and a high-intensity Fitness Challenge. Participants from the Founders Run Club, running community, HUAWEI Campus Ambassadors, and fitness creator community tested HUAWEI’s latest wearable and audio devices across the different activities.
The technology lineup included the HUAWEI FreeClip 2, HUAWEI Band 11, HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5, HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2, and HUAWEI WATCH GT 6 series.
During the 3K and 5K runs, the HUAWEI FreeClip 2 provided an open-ear listening experience designed to let users hear music and audio cues while remaining aware of their surroundings. Its features include AI-powered sound optimization, adaptive listening, dual-device connectivity, gesture controls, IP57 water resistance, and up to 38 hours of battery life with its charging case.

HUAWEI’s wearables provided participants with real-time fitness and health data, including pace, distance, heart rate, GPS tracking, and recovery insights. The HUAWEI WATCH FIT 5 was used across running, rowing, and strength activities, while the WATCH GT 6 series highlighted running-form analysis, sports tracking, and extended battery life.
For dedicated runners, the HUAWEI WATCH GT Runner 2 showcased AI-powered GPS, real-time pace guidance, lactate-threshold insights, race performance predictions, and post-run analysis. Workout data can also be synchronized with Strava on both iOS and Android devices.
The Fit Fest demonstrated how smart wearables and audio devices are increasingly becoming part of the connected fitness ecosystem, giving users data-driven insights that can help them monitor progress, refine training, and stay engaged with their wellness goals.
