The NU Bulldogs of the Philippines have been crowned Grand Champions at the OPPO Hyper Legend Cup x MLBB Campus Series, securing a share of the USD 100,000 prize pool after defeating Malaysia’s KPTM x Velocity in a high-pressure Grand Finals showdown.

Facing eight of Southeast Asia’s top collegiate esports teams, the NU Bulldogs demonstrated disciplined structure and strategic patience throughout the tournament. Rather than forcing early engagements, the team focused on map control and timing, a decision that proved decisive in their championship run.
After navigating early challenges in pacing during the group stages, the Bulldogs strengthened their coordination in the Grand Finals, dictating the tempo with sharper team fights and more efficient objective control to secure the title.
Chloe Zeng, IMC Manager of OPPO, congratulated the team and emphasized the brand’s commitment to supporting emerging esports talent across the region through competitive platforms developed in partnership with MOONTON Games.
“This reflects OPPO’s continued commitment to empowering the next generation of esports talent across Southeast Asia,” Zeng said.
The tournament was powered by the OPPO Reno15 Series, the official device of the competition, designed to support high-performance gaming environments. Key features included a 120FPS display for smoother gameplay, a VC Cooling System for thermal stability during long matches, a 6,500mAh battery with 80W SUPERVOOC fast charging, and AI LinkBoost 3.0 for stable connectivity during critical in-game moments.
The victory further strengthens the Philippines’ growing reputation in the Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) esports scene, highlighting the country’s continued dominance in collegiate-level competition across Southeast Asia.
