Salesforce and Anthropic are expanding their strategic partnership with Claudeforce, an initiative that combines Claude’s AI reasoning capabilities with Salesforce’s enterprise data, workflows, business logic and governance.
The partnership launches with Salesforce in Claude, a plugin featuring 37 prebuilt sales skills designed to help sellers and AI agents work with live revenue data, automate pipeline updates and take governed actions directly within Claude.
Claude connects AI reasoning with enterprise data
Salesforce in Claude is powered by AIforce, Salesforce’s enterprise AI infrastructure that connects business data and workflows to AI agents through MCP servers, APIs and CLI tools.
The integration can use Salesforce, Slack and other connected enterprise information to create tailored dashboards and provide sellers with contextual views of accounts, pipelines and live business data. Actions are routed through Salesforce to maintain existing business rules, authentication and permissions.
Meanwhile, Claude is also integrated into Salesforce’s Agentforce, serving as a reasoning model for the Atlas Reasoning Engine and powering Agentforce Vibes and Agentforce Coworker.
Claude is available within the Salesforce Trust Boundary through Amazon Bedrock, allowing organizations—including those in regulated industries—to deploy AI while maintaining controls over enterprise data and workloads.
AI extends into Slack
The expanded partnership also brings Claude deeper into Slack, where it serves as the default model across Slack AI experiences, including Slackbot. Claude will also support Slack Code for AI-assisted software development.
Salesforce said Claude is already driving productivity gains internally, with Slackbot generating 8.1 million hours of annualized productivity gains.
Salesforce in Claude is currently available to select pilot customers and is expected to enter open beta in September 2026, with additional prebuilt skills planned to launch during the third quarter.
