Samsung Philippines is making a final call for Grades 8 to 10 students from government-managed science high schools nationwide to join Solve for Tomorrow 2026, a competition that challenges young innovators to develop technology-driven solutions to real-world community problems.
With the submission deadline set for November 2, 2026, student teams have an opportunity to compete for nearly ₱2 million worth of prizes by applying science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) to issues such as environmental sustainability, social change, and artificial intelligence.
Each team may have up to four students, guided by one teacher-adviser. Projects are expected to address local challenges through creative and practical solutions that can make a positive impact on communities.

Previous winners demonstrate technology’s potential
In last year’s competition, Team MaHeMo from Cavite Science Integrated School developed a solar-powered buoy to monitor mangrove health, while fellow school team EGGNovation created an automated egg-sorting system. Team BANTALAY from Tuguegarao City Science High School proposed a solar-powered pest trap to support sustainable farming.
Now in its fourth year in the Philippines, Samsung Solve for Tomorrow continues to encourage students to turn STEM knowledge and creativity into solutions for challenges affecting their communities.
