Global football star Cristiano Ronaldo has acquired a 10% equity stake in HBL Pro2col Software, LLC, a subsidiary of Herbalife Ltd., following a $7.5 million investment in its personalized digital health and wellness technology.

Pro2col is a next-generation wellness platform designed to use data, artificial intelligence (AI), and personalized insights to help users develop healthier habits and track their progress. The system creates individualized wellness plans incorporating daily routines and nutrition tracking that adapt to users’ lifestyles.

At the core of the platform is Pro2Score, a proprietary wellness scoring system that tracks progress across key health and wellness metrics, providing users with insights intended to support healthier lifestyle choices.

The platform also equips Herbalife distributors with digital tools and customer insights to improve engagement and provide more personalized nutrition and wellness support.

Ronaldo’s investment includes a commitment to provide services and sponsorship rights to Pro2col Software, reflecting his continued partnership with Herbalife, which has served as his global nutrition partner since 2013.

“His investment reflects a shared belief in the power of nutrition, data, AI, and personalized insights to drive better health outcomes,” said Herbalife CEO Stephan Gratziani.

Herbalife has begun a phased beta rollout of Pro2col to gather user feedback ahead of a broader commercial release. Beta access is currently available to distributors and customers in the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico, with expansion to select markets in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa planned to begin in 2026.

The investment supports Herbalife’s strategy to build a more connected, data-driven wellness platform that combines nutrition products, AI capabilities, digital tools, and personalized support.
