Acer has unveiled a new lineup of gaming and professional monitors designed to deliver faster performance, higher resolutions, and improved visual quality for gamers, content creators, and hybrid users.
The new displays span the Predator, Acer Nitro, and Acer ProDesigner portfolios, with standout features including refresh rates of up to 1,000Hz, 5K resolution, Mini LED backlighting, QD-OLED technology, and Dynamic Frame Rate (DFR) modes.
Predator pushes refresh rates to 1,000Hz
Leading the lineup is the 24.5-inch Predator XB253Q U1, an esports-focused monitor featuring a 1,000Hz refresh rate and Full HD resolution. Acer’s Visual Response Boost (VRB) Pro technology is designed to reduce motion blur and ghosting, while a 0.3ms response time supports fast-paced competitive gaming.
The monitor also supports AMD FreeSync Premium and NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible technologies for smoother, tear-free gameplay. It is VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified and includes Circular Polarizer technology designed to reduce glare and eye strain.
For gamers seeking higher visual fidelity, the Predator X32 V3 features a 31.5-inch QD-OLED Penta Tandem panel with UHD resolution and a 180Hz refresh rate. It delivers a 0.03ms GTG response time, 99% DCI-P3 color coverage, and VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certification.
Meanwhile, the 27-inch Predator XB273K V7 combines UHD resolution at 160Hz with DFR technology that can switch the display to Full HD at up to 500Hz, allowing users to prioritize either image detail or competitive gaming performance.
Nitro monitors target high-resolution and high-speed gaming
The Acer Nitro range adds several displays designed to balance gaming performance, content creation, and productivity.
The Acer Nitro XV275X P combines 5K resolution at 165Hz with 2,304-zone Mini LED backlighting and VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification. Its DFR technology enables a switch to QHD resolution at up to 330Hz. The monitor also supports 99% Adobe RGB, 99% sRGB, and 99% DCI-P3 color gamuts, making it suitable for both gaming and creative workloads.
For ultrawide gaming, the Acer Nitro XZ340CKR P features a 34-inch curved display with 5120 x 2160 resolution at 180Hz. DFR can shift the display to 2560 x 1080 at up to 360Hz, giving competitive gamers a higher-speed mode.
The Acer Nitro XV275U Z2 and XV270U Z3 introduce tri-mode gaming capabilities. Both can operate at QHD 275Hz, Full HD 360Hz, or HD 520Hz, allowing users to select the appropriate combination of resolution and responsiveness depending on the game.
The XV275U Z2 adds 1,152-zone Mini LED backlighting and HDR1000, while the XV270U Z3 offers HDR10 and 90% DCI-P3 coverage.
ProDesigner targets professional creators
Acer’s new ProDesigner PE270X P is aimed at designers, photographers, video editors, and other professionals who require high-resolution and color-accurate displays.
The 27-inch monitor delivers 5K resolution at 165Hz and supports DFR for QHD at up to 330Hz. Factory calibration achieves Delta E<1 color accuracy, while coverage reaches 99% Adobe RGB, 99% DCI-P3, and 99% sRGB.
A 2,304-zone Mini LED backlight and VESA DisplayHDR 1400 certification are designed to provide strong contrast and HDR performance. The monitor also includes USB Type-C connectivity with 90W power delivery and an Auto KVM switch for multi-device workflows.
Availability and pricing
Acer says the new monitors will roll out across North America, EMEA, China, and Australia beginning in Q4 2026 and continuing into 2027, depending on the model and market.
Prices start at USD 299.99 for the Acer Nitro XV270U Z3 and go up to USD 1,299.99 for the Acer ProDesigner PE270X P. The Predator XB253Q U1 starts at USD 1,099.99 in North America.
