Acer has unveiled the Predator ES Thunder Pro, a high-performance electric scooter designed for long-distance urban commuting and all-terrain riding, combining a powerful motor with advanced safety and smart connectivity technologies.
The new e-scooter features a 500W rear-wheel-drive motor capable of delivering up to 1,600W of peak power and 32Nm of torque, with support for inclines of up to 28%. Its Traction Control System (TCS) dynamically adjusts power based on road conditions to improve tire grip and stability, particularly on wet or low-traction surfaces.
For added durability and ride stability, the Predator ES Thunder Pro uses 10-inch tubeless pneumatic off-road tires, front and rear rocker suspension with spring shocks, and an IPX6 water-resistance rating. It can travel up to 70 kilometers on a single charge using a 48V 13Ah battery.
Smart mobility features
Technology is also central to the scooter’s connectivity features. Through the Acer eMobility app, riders can monitor battery levels, vehicle status and riding data, while remotely managing electronic locking, lighting and other settings.
The scooter supports Find My and Find Hub location-tracking platforms and introduces AI voice control, allowing users to lock or unlock the scooter, check battery levels and control its lights through voice commands using a smartphone or smartwatch.
The Predator ES Thunder Pro also includes front daytime running lights, RGB ambient lighting, disc brakes with rear eABS, and multiple riding modes.
Acer plans to launch the Predator ES Thunder Pro in Europe in Q1 2027, starting at EUR 799. Availability, pricing and specifications may vary by market.
