ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has officially launched its 2026 Strix G and Strix SCAR gaming laptop lineup in the Philippines, bringing next-generation processors, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs, advanced cooling technologies, and upgraded high-refresh-rate displays to gamers and content creators.
The new ROG Strix G16 and G18 models feature Intel Core Ultra processors paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics, delivering high-performance gaming and multitasking capabilities. Both laptops are equipped with upgraded 2.5K ROG Nebula Displays featuring a 300Hz refresh rate for smoother visuals and enhanced responsiveness in competitive gaming.
ASUS has also enhanced thermal performance through its latest ROG Intelligent Cooling system, which combines vapor chamber technology, Tri-Fan cooling, and Conductonaut Extreme liquid metal to reduce operating temperatures by up to 15°C under heavy workloads.
Leading the premium lineup is the ROG Strix SCAR 18, powered by up to an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU and Intel Core Ultra 9 290HX Plus processor. The flagship gaming laptop features what ASUS describes as the world’s first 18-inch 4K 240Hz Mini LED display with over 2,000 dimming zones, delivering improved brightness, contrast, and motion clarity for gaming and creative workloads.
The SCAR 18 also introduces upgraded airflow systems, a larger vapor chamber, and a new graphite-and-copper heatsink design to improve thermal efficiency and sustain peak performance during extended gaming sessions.
Beyond performance, ASUS has focused on user-friendly upgrades with a tool-less design that allows easier access to RAM, SSDs, and cooling components. The premium SCAR 18 model also includes the customizable AniMe Vision LED display on the lid, enabling users to personalize animations and visual effects.
Pricing for the 2026 ROG Strix G series starts at PHP 159,995, while the flagship ROG Strix SCAR 18 is priced at PHP 439,995. All models include ASUS’ No. 1 Quality & Service Package, featuring a three-year warranty, accidental damage protection, gaming accessories, PC Game Pass access, and productivity software subscriptions.
