The inaugural CrossFire: Legends Championship (CFLC) has concluded in Manila, marking a major milestone for mobile first-person shooter esports following three months of international competition.
Organized for CrossFire: Legends by Tencent, the tournament brought together top teams from Southeast Asia, with Vietnam’s Evolution Team (EVO) emerging as the first-ever champions after a dominant Grand Final performance.

Filipino squads also made a strong impression on home soil, with KDM finishing in second place and Vanguard Familia securing fourth, underscoring the Philippines’ growing competitiveness in the mobile FPS scene. Vietnam’s HeartFire (HF) placed third.
The semifinals and Grand Finals, held from February 7–8, drew thousands of live spectators in Manila, while online broadcasts across platforms such as TikTok, Facebook, and YouTube generated over 500,000 cumulative views. Peak concurrent viewership surpassed 40,000, highlighting strong regional and digital engagement.
The final match saw EVO maintain consistent control under pressure, executing key strategic plays to secure the championship title. EVO player Luji was named Most Valuable Player for his standout performance throughout the tournament.
The event also featured prominent Southeast Asian esports organizations such as EVOS Esports, ONIC Esports, and FullSense, reflecting the region’s increasingly competitive mobile esports landscape.
With a total prize pool of USD 45,000, the CFLC Grand Final highlighted both competitive intensity and rising investment in mobile FPS esports across Southeast Asia.
According to a representative from Tencent’s K1 Team, the tournament represents the beginning of a broader effort to build a structured international ecosystem for mobile FPS competition. The company emphasized continued investment in global esports frameworks to support long-term growth.
The success of CFLC reinforces Southeast Asia’s position as a key hub for mobile esports, particularly in FPS titles, where fan engagement, regional rivalries, and rising team performance continue to drive the scene forward.
