FedEx Philippines has been named one of HR Asia’s Best Companies to Work for in Asia for the fourth consecutive year, receiving three additional honors, including the Tech Empowerment Award, for its workplace initiatives and use of digital technologies.
The company also received the People Transformation Award and Sustainable Workplace Award at the 2026 HR Asia awards, which recognize organizations for employee engagement, workplace culture, and human resource practices.
The Tech Empowerment Award recognizes companies that use digital and technological innovations to empower employees and improve human resource practices. FedEx Philippines said it continues to invest in digital tools, employee upskilling, and sustainability initiatives to help its workforce adapt to changing business needs.
“We are intentionally building a workplace where our talent doesn’t just adapt to change, they lead it,” said Garrick Thompson, managing director of FedEx Philippines, emphasizing the company’s commitment to innovation and employee development.
Organized by HR Asia, the awards use the publication’s Total Engagement Assessment Model (TEAM) to evaluate employee engagement, workplace culture, and HR practices.
FedEx Philippines was also recently certified as a Great Place to Work and received three recognitions at the 2026 HR Excellence Awards for its approaches to cross-generational workforce engagement, performance management, and employee retention.
