Globe Business is advocating a shift toward “intelligent transformation” in the Philippines, emphasizing that the success of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and emerging technologies depends not only on innovation but also on human-centered leadership, ethical governance, and strategic decision-making.
As businesses across the country accelerate digital adoption, Globe Business is positioning leadership as the key driver of meaningful technological change—ensuring that AI is applied with purpose, inclusivity, and long-term impact.

Female leaders (L-R) Fay Cruz, Head of Commercial Operations of Globe Business; Michelle Alarcon, President of the Analytics and Artificial Intelligence Association of the Philippines (AAP); and Nature Calderon, Vice President of Strategy Execution and Transformation at Globe Telecom, were brought together at Globe Business’ LeadHERship Forward in Cebu.
Nature Calderon advocated for humanizing business transformation through empathy, while Michelle Alarcon championed the shift from being a technology user to becoming an AI architect.
At the heart of this initiative is the #LeadHERshipForward campaign, which highlights the growing role of Filipina leaders in shaping digital systems rather than merely using them. Through forums in Manila and Cebu, industry leaders from Globe Business, the Analytics and AI Association of the Philippines, and other sectors emphasized the importance of combining technical expertise with empathy, intuition, and ethical oversight in AI development.
Globe Business Vice President KD Dizon underscored that while technology continues to evolve rapidly, leadership must remain intentional, with human judgment guiding how digital systems are built and deployed.

Angie Po, VP and Head of Product Management of Globe Business, during AmCham’s Women’s Forum, shared her unique journey as a female leader in the technology industry and presented her leadership playbook in championing more women leaders to rise up and help preserve high-parity leadership in Philippine businesses.
During the Go Negosyo Women Summit, Nikki Ebrada, Segment Head for Supply Chain and HORECA Industries, shared with women entrepreneurs and leaders how Globe Business supports small business owners in navigating their digital journey and building future-ready enterprises in today’s evolving landscape.
The campaign also expanded its reach to SMEs and broader industry groups, including the Go Negosyo Women Summit and AmCham Women’s Forum, where discussions focused on digital inclusion, ethical innovation, and simplifying access to technology for small businesses.
Globe Business further highlighted the importance of sponsorship over mentorship, encouraging leaders to actively advocate for women in decision-making roles within tech and business environments.
As AI becomes increasingly integrated into business operations, Globe Business frames “intelligent transformation” as a balance between automation and human insight—positioning women leaders as key architects of a more ethical and inclusive digital future.
