Globe Telecom reported a 15% year-on-year increase in corporate data revenues to ₱11 billion in the first half of 2026, highlighting growing demand for enterprise connectivity and digital infrastructure.

The growth reflects businesses’ increasing reliance on reliable internet connections and data networks to support digital workflows, customer transactions, and distributed operations.

Globe’s overall service revenues reached a record ₱85.4 billion for the first half, up 6% year-on-year. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) also rose 6% to ₱44.5 billion, representing a 52.6% margin.

Data-driven services continued to account for the bulk of the company’s service revenues. Mobile data revenues increased 10% to ₱53.9 billion, while home broadband revenues grew 6% to ₱12.4 billion.

To support rising connectivity demand, Globe invested ₱26.3 billion in capital expenditure during the first half, a 39% increase from the same period last year. About 91% of the spending went toward data and digital infrastructure, including network capacity expansion and service quality improvements.

The company remains on track to keep full-year capital expenditure below US$1 billion as it balances network modernization with profitability and financial flexibility.

Globe’s Core Net Income, which excludes foreign exchange and mark-to-market adjustments, reached ₱10.2 billion in the first half. Second-quarter Core Net Income increased 7% quarter-on-quarter to ₱5.3 billion.

The continued growth of corporate data revenues underscores the role of enterprise connectivity in Globe’s broader digital infrastructure strategy. Sustained customer demand and the returns generated by its network investments will be important to maintaining growth.
