Kia Philippines is highlighting its growing portfolio of electrified and future-ready vehicles at the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) 2026, reinforcing its push toward sustainable mobility for Filipino consumers.
Aligned with the event’s theme, “Forward in Every Drive,” Kia’s showcase features a mix of turbo hybrid, fully electric, and fuel-efficient models designed to meet the evolving transportation needs of modern drivers.
Leading the display are the Kia Carnival Turbo Hybrid and Kia Sorento Turbo Hybrid, which combine electrified powertrains with family-oriented practicality and premium features. The company is also spotlighting its expanding electric vehicle lineup, including the recently launched Kia EV5, an electric SUV offering up to 550 kilometers of driving range, regenerative braking technology, advanced driver assistance systems, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) functionality.
Also featured is the flagship Kia EV9, a full-size three-row electric SUV recognized globally for its technology, design, and sustainability-focused engineering.
For entry-level buyers and urban motorists, Kia showcased the Sonet compact crossover, which continues to attract consumers with its fuel-efficient engine, connected features, and accessible pricing.
Looking ahead, Kia provided an early preview of the upcoming Sportage Turbo Hybrid ahead of its Philippine launch in July. The company also confirmed that the Kia EV3 compact electric SUV and the Kia PV5 electric van are scheduled to arrive in the local market, further expanding its electric mobility ecosystem.
According to Kia Philippines Managing Director Jay Lopez, the brand aims to make advanced mobility technologies more accessible by offering a range of electrified and efficient vehicle options tailored to different lifestyles and driving needs.
The showcase reflects Kia’s broader strategy of accelerating the adoption of hybrid and electric vehicles in the Philippines while providing consumers with practical pathways toward cleaner and smarter transportation.
