Powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 octa-core processor, the tablet runs Android 16 and comes in memory configurations of up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. Storage can be expanded through a microSD card of up to 2TB.

Immersive audio and visuals

The Tab Plus Gen 2 features a JBL nine-unit Pro speaker system tuned with Dolby Atmos, designed to deliver immersive audio for movies, music, and other content. Its Bluetooth speaker mode also allows users to play audio directly from their smartphones.

The tablet’s 12.1-inch LCD display offers 2.5K resolution (2560 × 1600), a 120Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10 support. High Brightness Mode reaches up to 800 nits to improve visibility in bright environments.

A built-in 360-degree rotating kickstand supports portrait and landscape viewing, with lean, theater, stand, and hanging positions. The tablet also includes a standby mode that allows it to function as a digital picture frame.

For productivity and accessibility, Lenovo AI Live Transcript offers real-time translation, while Lenovo Smarter Reader supports reading and content navigation. AI Notes, powered by Lenovo Notepad, helps users organize their notes.

The device packs a 10,200mAh battery rated for up to 15 hours of YouTube video streaming and supports 45W fast charging. It is also compatible with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus and Lenovo Wireless Keyboard, sold separately.

Lenovo says the tablet will receive two Android OS upgrades, up to Android 18, and four years of security patches through 2030.
