Maxim Rides & Food Delivery has introduced new car service rates in Davao City, General Santos City, Tacloban City, and Tagbilaran City, giving passengers more app-based transportation options.
The service offers Car 4-seater rides starting at PHP 45 and Car 6-seater rides starting at PHP 55. The services use newer, air-conditioned vehicles operated by legally registered driver-partners.
Maxim’s platform calculates fares based on the shortest route, with the fare displayed to passengers before booking. This gives riders greater visibility into trip costs compared with traditional taxi services that rely on taximeters.
The platform also provides an earning opportunity for private vehicle owners who want to become driver-partners. New driver-partners can fulfill orders with 0% commission, while rates for existing drivers are calculated individually.
According to Maxim Rides & Food Delivery President Andres Morales Jr., the expanded rates are designed to provide passengers with more choices for reliable and comfortable transportation while supporting competitive pricing.
The expansion highlights how app-based mobility platforms and digital fare systems are reshaping transportation options in regional Philippine cities.
