Philippine Manufacturing Week 2026 highlighted the growing role of advanced technologies, automation, and precision engineering in strengthening the country’s manufacturing sector during its three-day showcase at the World Trade Center Metro Manila.
The event, which concluded on July 25, brought together the 3rd Auto Parts and Vehicles Expo Philippines (APVE) 2026 and the 12th Philippine Die and Mould Machinery and Equipment Exhibition (PDMEX), creating a platform for manufacturers, technology providers, engineers, and industry leaders to explore innovations across the manufacturing value chain.
The exhibitions featured solutions in automotive components, precision tooling, robotics, electric vehicle technologies, digital transformation, and smart manufacturing systems aimed at improving productivity and global competitiveness.
Government officials emphasized the importance of technology adoption in advancing the Philippine manufacturing industry. The Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) highlighted the need for strategic investments, infrastructure development, and policies that position the country as a competitive manufacturing hub in the ASEAN region.
The APVE 2026 exhibition showcased automotive aftermarket solutions, with international participation from countries including China, Taiwan, and Thailand, reflecting the Philippines’ growing importance as a regional market for automotive components and services.
Meanwhile, PDMEX 2026 focused on precision engineering technologies, including advanced die and mould machinery, robotics integration, welding technologies, quality control systems, and digital transformation solutions for manufacturers.
“The co-location of APVE and PDMEX under Philippine Manufacturing Week represents a strategic milestone in advancing the Philippine manufacturing ecosystem,” said Rungphech Chitanuwat, Country General Manager of Informa Markets Philippines.
The event’s conference program featured discussions on electric vehicle infrastructure, automotive trends, MSME support programs, fleet modernization, robotics, and the adoption of digital technologies in manufacturing operations.
With an expected attendance of around 8,000 industry professionals, Philippine Manufacturing Week 2026 served as a key platform for technology sourcing, business partnerships, and knowledge exchange, supporting the industry’s shift toward smarter, more connected, and more sustainable manufacturing.
