Salesforce has introduced a new suite of Agentforce Marketing capabilities designed to help marketing teams automate campaign execution, content creation, lead generation, and customer engagement through AI-powered agents.
Announced at Connections 2026, the new tools position AI agents as collaborative partners that can help marketers build pipeline, create personalized content, optimize campaigns, and adapt customer experiences in real time.
Built on Salesforce’s Customer Data Platform (CDP) and Agentforce platform, the solution combines customer data, business information, content, workflows, and conversations into a unified environment. This shared context enables AI agents to make informed decisions and coordinate actions across marketing, sales, service, and commerce functions.
Among the new capabilities is Hunter, an AI-powered prospecting agent that identifies potential customers based on buying intent, initiates outreach, and manages email nurturing campaigns. Salesforce also highlighted Piper, Qualified’s AI Sales Development Representative (SDR) agent, which can engage website visitors, answer questions, qualify leads, and connect prospects directly to sales teams.
To address growing demand for personalized marketing, Salesforce introduced Agentforce Content Agent, which can generate campaign assets across multiple channels, including email, SMS, mobile messaging, and personalized promotional experiences. The AI can also localize content for global audiences while maintaining brand consistency.
The company is also advancing autonomous campaign management through the Agentforce Marketing Goals Agent. Marketers can define objectives, budgets, and operational guidelines, while AI agents independently create, execute, and optimize campaigns using real-time customer signals and behavioral data.
Supporting its AI-driven content strategy, Salesforce recently announced plans to acquire Contentful, a leading composable content management platform. The acquisition aims to strengthen Salesforce’s ability to deliver dynamic, personalized content experiences across digital channels.
In addition, Salesforce is extending AI-powered campaign management beyond traditional marketing platforms by enabling marketers to manage campaigns through conversational interfaces such as Slack using its Headless 360 framework.
According to Salesforce, the latest Agentforce Marketing innovations are designed to help organizations move beyond static campaigns and toward continuous, AI-driven customer engagement that improves personalization, productivity, and business outcomes.
“Our vision for the future of marketing is simple: Empower marketers with AI agents that help them do work that wasn’t possible before,” said Eric Zenz, Senior Vice President of Product Management for Agentforce Marketing.
