vivo is set to introduce new AI-powered photography tools with the upcoming vivo V80, giving users more ways to personalize photos and create animated compositions ahead of its Philippine launch on October 30.
Leading the camera features is Creative Sticker Collage, an AI-powered tool that transforms subjects from Live Photos into stickers that users can combine with other Live Photos to create playful, moving compositions featuring people, pets, and everyday moments.
The vivo V80 will also feature an AI Creative Camera, which lets users change the lighting and atmosphere of their photos with a single tap. Options such as Sunlight, Glow, and Top Lighting offer studio-inspired effects without requiring extensive manual adjustments or post-processing.
For portrait photography, CCD Flash Portrait combines flash fill-light with CCD-inspired image processing to deliver a retro aesthetic, natural-looking skin tones, and enhanced contrast. The feature is also designed to make subjects stand out against darker backgrounds in nighttime shots.
These creative tools complement the smartphone’s imaging system developed with ZEISS optics. The vivo V80 features a 50-megapixel ZEISS OIS Main Camera with optical image stabilization, a 50-megapixel ZEISS Super Telephoto Camera, an ultra-wide-angle camera, and a group selfie camera.
The combination of AI-assisted editing, creative effects, and ZEISS-powered imaging is designed to help users capture portraits, videos, and everyday moments with greater flexibility and personalization.
The vivo V80 will launch in the Philippines on October 30 at 6 p.m. The event will be livestreamed on the vivo Philippines Facebook page.
