Acer has introduced the Acer Vero 16, a premium Copilot+ PC that combines Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, on-device AI capabilities, and a repairability-focused design aimed at extending the laptop’s usable lifespan.


The fourth-generation Vero consumer laptop uses 50% post-industrial recycled aluminum and 50% low-carbon aluminum for its top cover and palm rest, while the bottom cover incorporates 60% post-consumer recycled plastic. Acer also uses recycled materials for the display bezel and side I/O covers.
Designed for easier repair and upgrades
The Vero 16 expands Acer’s sustainability approach with a focus on repairability. A tool-free access latch provides easier access to internal components, while the battery and SSD can be replaced by users. The detachable hinge and removable I/O port covers are also designed to simplify repairs.
Acer says the laptop is designed to support processor upgrades for at least two generations, potentially extending its useful life and reducing electronic waste.
Intel-powered performance with AI
The laptop can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra X9 processor 388H and up to 180 platform TOPS, along with up to 32GB of LPDDR5x memory and 512GB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage.
Display options include a 16-inch 3K OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut. Connectivity includes two Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI 2.1, USB Type-A, an SD card reader and Intel Wi-Fi 7.
As a Windows 11 Copilot+ PC, the Vero 16 supports AI features including Click to Do, Cocreator, Live Captions with translation and Windows Studio Effects. Acer’s own AI tools include PurifiedView for camera enhancements, PurifiedVoice for noise reduction, and AcerSense for system management and optimization.
The Acer Vero 16 will be available in EMEA in Q1 2027, with pricing and configurations varying by region.
