BYD Cars Philippines has launched the BYD Tech Tour at SM City Clark, highlighting its latest electric vehicle (EV) technologies while giving visitors an exclusive preview of the upcoming BYD Atto 2 DM-i ahead of its official launch.
The interactive showcase underscores BYD’s efforts to accelerate EV adoption in the Philippines by bringing electrified mobility and automotive innovation closer to consumers in Central Luzon. Although the Atto 2 DM-i’s specifications remain under wraps, attendees are offered a first-hand look at the brand’s newest subcompact SUV.
Beyond the vehicle preview, the BYD Tech Tour features technology modules, virtual reality experiences, and test drives that allow visitors to explore the company’s electrified vehicle lineup. Models on display include the BYD Seagull, Sealion 6 DM-i, Seal 5 DM-i, Sealion 5 DM-i, Tang DM-i, and the recently launched Sealion 7.
According to Bob Palanca, Managing Director of BYD Cars Philippines, Clark serves as a strategic location for expanding the company’s regional footprint and making electric mobility more accessible to Filipinos.
