Home Credit Philippines is expanding its role in promoting responsible lending, consumer protection, and fraud prevention through increased participation in the Credit Card Association of the Philippines, a financial industry group focused on advancing safe credit practices in the country.

As part of its expanded involvement, Cyrus Ching has been appointed as CCAP’s 2026 Collections Committee Chairman. Ching represented Home Credit alongside Jude Romano during the association’s annual planning session in Taipei, helping shape industry priorities and initiatives for the coming year.

According to Home Credit, the appointment reflects its commitment to sharing best practices in ethical and effective collections management while promoting responsible credit use among Filipino consumers.

The company’s growing influence within CCAP follows its active participation in recent years. In 2025, Andrew Raymond Fernandez chaired the association’s Merchant Relations Committee, while Home Credit’s Collections Team secured the CCAP Fellowship championship for two consecutive years, highlighting its operational excellence in collections management.

Beyond leadership roles, Home Credit continues to support industry-wide consumer awareness initiatives, including the Fight Budol and Pilipinas Fraud Awareness Campaign, which aim to educate the public about evolving fraud schemes, social engineering tactics, and digital security risks.

The company emphasized that as digital financial services continue to grow, strengthening fraud prevention and financial literacy remains a key priority. As a financial institution regulated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Securities and Exchange Commission, Home Credit said it is committed to balancing financial inclusion with consumer safety through industry collaboration and financial wellness initiatives.
