Hong Kong Disneyland Resort is set to launch its first-ever Pixar Summer Fest from June 12 to August 31, 2026, bringing immersive Pixar-themed attractions, nighttime drone entertainment, interactive experiences, and exclusive merchandise to fans across Asia.
The summer event transforms the resort into a large-scale Pixar-inspired destination featuring characters and stories from popular franchises such as Toy Story, Inside Out, The Incredibles, Coco, Turning Red, Brave, and Up.
One of the major highlights is the debut of the all-new Pixar Pals Spectacular, a nighttime entertainment experience combining glowing drones, castle projections, music, and storytelling across the Castle of Magical Dreams and Main Street, U.S.A. The show will take place before the resort’s signature Momentous presentation.
Throughout the park, guests can also participate in interactive Pixar-themed activities, including a new drawing experience at the Animation Academy and live character encounters featuring Pixar favorites such as Merida, Miguel, and Meilin Lee.
Returning attractions include the splash-themed Pixar Water Play Street Party! and the energetic Friendtastic! parade along Main Street, U.S.A.
The resort is also expanding themed dining and retail experiences with Pixar-inspired menu items, collectible merchandise, and interactive shopping concepts. Special hotel activities and in-room Pixar-themed experiences will also be available across the resort’s hotels beginning May 12, 2026.
To encourage longer stays, HKDL introduced special travel packages including the Non-stop 2-Day Fun Ticket and discounted hotel promotions for multi-night bookings.
The event reflects the growing integration of immersive entertainment technology, interactive storytelling, and themed experiences within modern destination tourism and family entertainment.
