Huawei has launched the HUAWEI Mate 80 Pro in the Philippines, positioning it as a flagship smartphone built around AI integration, advanced imaging, and durability for high-performance mobile use.

Priced at PHP 69,999 (with a limited-time offer of PHP 64,999), the Mate 80 Pro introduces a combination of hardware and AI-driven features aimed at content creation and everyday productivity. Central to its camera system is a 50MP Ultra Lighting main sensor, supported by a 48MP telephoto macro lens with up to 4x optical zoom and a 40MP ultra-wide camera. The device also incorporates AI Composition, a real-time framing assistant that helps users capture professional-grade photos without manual adjustments.

Beyond imaging, the smartphone integrates AI Smart Control, allowing users to quickly access digital assistants such as Google Gemini, ChatGPT, and DeepSeek for tasks like content generation, translation, and productivity management.
The Mate 80 Pro is also engineered for durability, featuring second-generation Kunlun Glass and IP68/IP69 ratings, enabling resistance to dust, water immersion, and extreme temperatures. Its thermal management system, branded as SuperCool Dual Phase Change Heat Dissipation, is designed to maintain performance under heavy workloads and high ambient temperatures.
Performance is supported by 16GB of RAM and a 120Hz adaptive display, while a 5750mAh battery powers extended usage. The device supports 100W wired and 80W wireless fast charging, targeting users who require minimal downtime.
Huawei also emphasizes ecosystem integration through its Huawei AppGallery, enabling access to popular apps and services, alongside secure features like 3D ToF facial recognition.
The Mate 80 Pro is now available via online platforms and retail stores nationwide, with bundled promotions including free accessories and service packages. The launch reflects Huawei’s continued focus on combining AI capabilities, imaging innovation, and hardware resilience in its flagship devices.
