inDrive, in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development, has distributed ₱5,000 cash relief assistance to thousands of Transport Network Vehicle Service (TNVS) partner drivers in a special payout activity held at the SMX Convention Center Manila in Pasay City.
The initiative, conducted on May 16, was designed to support drivers affected by rising fuel costs and follows a directive encouraging TNVS companies to establish structured payout systems for faster and more efficient distribution of government assistance.

inDrive said it implemented an end-to-end payout system, including SMS and in-app notifications, batch scheduling, and on-ground logistics support to streamline the release of funds and reduce waiting times for beneficiaries.
According to Sofia Guinto, the company prioritized operational readiness and driver support to ensure a smooth payout process while continuing to advocate for fair earnings within the ride-hailing industry.
Pinky Romualdez emphasized the importance of collaboration between government and private sector partners in delivering timely financial assistance to transport workers affected by economic pressures.
Beyond the cash relief program, inDrive highlighted its ongoing driver-first initiatives, including low commission rates, subsidies for government-mandated discounts, and fuel discount partnerships aimed at helping drivers maximize their income.
The joint effort underscores the growing role of public-private partnerships in strengthening financial support systems for Filipino transport workers while improving efficiency in aid distribution.
