MSI has announced the global availability of the Crosshair A16 HX MLG Edition, a gaming laptop that combines high-performance hardware, AI-powered features, and a distinctive Stellar White design. The laptop is available in the Philippines with a suggested retail price starting at ₱138,995.
Designed for gaming and demanding workloads, the Crosshair A16 HX MLG Edition is powered by up to an AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX processor with 16 cores and 32 threads, paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Laptop GPU featuring 8GB of GDDR7 memory. The graphics platform supports advanced gaming technologies, including ray tracing, DLSS, and AI acceleration.
MSI OverBoost Technology enables up to 190W of combined CPU and GPU power output. To help sustain performance during intensive gaming sessions, the laptop features a Cooler Boost thermal system with dual fans, five heat pipes, and a quad-exhaust heatsink design.
The device features a 16-inch QHD+ display with a 2560 × 1600 resolution, a 240Hz refresh rate, and 100% DCI-P3 typical color coverage. These specifications target gamers who need smooth visuals and accurate colors, as well as content creators working with graphics and video.
For memory and storage, the laptop supports up to 96GB of DDR5 memory and PCIe Gen4 and Gen5 storage options through MSI’s SuperRAID 5 technology. Connectivity features include Wi-Fi 6E, HDMI 2.1, and USB Type-C with DisplayPort and Power Delivery support.
The laptop also incorporates MSI AI Engine, which automatically adjusts system settings for different usage scenarios, including gaming, work, entertainment, and meetings. Combined with the RTX 50 Series GPU, these features support gaming and on-device AI workloads.
Beyond its hardware, the MLG Edition features a pearl-like Stellar White finish and custom designs inspired by LOONG, also known as MLG, a dragon-inspired original character. The exclusive premium bundle includes an MLG Edition mouse, headset, and extended gaming mouse pad. A limited-quantity launch bundle with a character figure and special packaging may also be available, depending on the configuration and local availability.
