Speech AI company Sanas is strengthening its presence in the Philippines as artificial intelligence reshapes customer experience, with new leadership appointments aimed at expanding its relationships with enterprises, BPO providers and technology partners.
Effective October 11, 2026, Sanas will appoint Jack Madrid, current President and CEO of the IT & Business Process Association of the Philippines (IBPAP), as Sanas Ambassador, Philippines. Christopher Venturina will also join as Director of Business Development, Philippines.
The appointments support Sanas’ plans to expand local operations and customer investments in a market known globally for its large customer experience and IT-BPM workforce.
Sanas currently works with more than 200 enterprises worldwide and processes millions of live voice interactions daily. The company uses Speech AI technology to help organizations improve voice-based customer interactions while combining AI capabilities with human expertise.
Madrid brings more than two decades of experience across banking, technology, digital commerce, media and industry leadership. During his tenure at IBPAP, the Philippine IT-BPM sector surpassed US$40 billion in annual revenues and supported approximately 1.9 million Digital Filipino Workers.
At Sanas, Madrid will focus on helping shape the company’s engagement with the Philippine market as businesses increasingly explore how AI can augment human workers rather than simply replace them.
Venturina will lead business development efforts involving enterprise customers, BPO providers and technology partners, with a focus on translating growing interest in AI into practical customer experience applications.
Sanas Co-Founder and CEO Sharath Keshava Narayana said the Philippines’ established customer experience industry provides a strong foundation for AI adoption, allowing Filipino talent and technology to work together to deliver better customer interactions.
The expansion comes as Philippine enterprises and BPOs face increasing pressure to deliver faster, more personalized and seamless customer experiences while improving productivity.
Sanas said its Philippine strategy centers on combining Speech AI with human expertise to help customer experience professionals communicate more effectively, perform at a higher level and deliver improved outcomes.
