Teleperformance (TP) in the Philippines strengthened its community engagement efforts by supporting “A Run for Kids with Cancer,” a charity fun run organized by the House of Hope Foundation for Kids with Cancer, Inc..
Around 30 employees from TP’s Davao sites participated in the 5-kilometer run held at the Lyceum of the Philippines University Davao, highlighting the company’s continued commitment to social responsibility and employee volunteerism.
The initiative is part of TP’s broader corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts aimed at supporting vulnerable communities, particularly children battling cancer. According to TP Philippines Vice President for Human Resources Rachel Cacabelos, the company focuses on creating meaningful opportunities not only for employees but also for the communities it serves.
“Supporting initiatives like ‘A Run for Kids with Cancer’ allows us to come together for a greater purpose—bringing hope, strength, and tangible support to children and families who need it most,” Cacabelos said.
Earlier this year, TP also extended assistance to the House of Hope Foundation through its corporate social responsibility arm, the Citizen of the World (COTW) Foundation, during activities linked to the launch of its Davao Uprise site. These ongoing initiatives reflect the company’s sustained commitment to community development in its operational areas.
Through participation in events like the charity run, TP reinforces its advocacy of combining employee engagement with meaningful social impact, helping strengthen support systems for children with cancer and their families in Mindanao.
