The vivo X300 FE gives smartphone photographers greater control over image-making with camera features designed to help users experiment with lighting, exposure, focus, and portrait styles.
A key feature is Pro Mode, which allows users to manually adjust ISO, shutter speed, white balance, focus, and exposure compensation. These controls give users more flexibility than Auto Mode, particularly when shooting in challenging lighting conditions.
For brighter environments, a lower ISO setting of around 50 to 200 can help produce cleaner images. In darker scenes, increasing ISO can brighten photos, while slower shutter speeds allow more light to reach the camera sensor. Users are advised to keep the phone steady when using slower shutter speeds to maintain image clarity.
The smartphone also features Portrait Flash, which is designed to recreate the candid aesthetic associated with the viral “Dirty Flash” photography trend. The feature supports five portrait focal lengths ranging from 23mm to 100mm and automatically adjusts flash coverage and intensity based on the selected focal length.
The 23mm setting can be used for wider, candid portraits, while longer focal lengths are suited to closer shots that incorporate the surrounding environment.
